Lavandin "super" grown in organic farming.
Lavandin is a hybrid of 2 lavenders:
- the fine lavender (lavandula angustifolia vera) that we cultivate and which obtains every year the PDO label,
- and lavender aspic (lavandula spica).
The lavender angustifolia grows from 600m altitude and spica lavender grows up to 600m altitude, and one day a farmer found a plant he did not know, which did not breed but was bigger and smelled very strong.
He made some cuttings ... and then lavandin was born.
Be careful, lavandin essential oil does not have the same properties or areas of action as lavender essential oil. Read the respective descriptions of each of the 2 species before using them.
